The one that got away, like several others. This kid of Rod is a beauty. Tough, resilient, fast, he is a thinker and has scored some great tries with sheer determination.Once again.
I want Wishart.
Spend the cash Saints!!!!
Throw the bank at him by letting Hunt go to the Dolphins.Once again.

Yep another bad decision by our lot ...... The problem is they never really give them ago then they leave .......He is signed to end of 2025 with a players option for 2026.
I rate him and it is such a pity that our people were so slow to sign him up long term when he was with us. Can play in many positions really well and can kick goals. Another one who got away from us.
Luciano , Bird , Cook , Selle come to mind ........Move on. Clubs quite naturally don’t want to admit their mistakes by buying back players.
Because for a decade or more we were coached by nuffies more interested in saving their arses than developing talent...Yep another bad decision by our lot ...... The problem is they never really give them ago then they leave .......
Both Tyran and Pezet signed on till 2025Because for a decade or more we were coached by nuffies more interested in saving their arses than developing talent...
Yes you are right chanticleer. The ability of Bellamy to transform so many players into premiership winning ones is amazing. He can identify what he needs in a player. The player doesn't have to be the top of the range type, just someone who is a Joe average but with plenty of potential that would fit into the system Bellamy has established over the past 2 decades at the Storm.Good luck to him.. like many NRL players that were "average" or hadnt reached their potential before arriving at Storm .. hes doing very well now..
Good player yes but more another example for how good Bellamy is as a coach.. everyone reaches their potential down there and plays near their best weekly..

Tyran reminds me of what the Storm did for Nicho Hynes- an average player who blossomed into one who initially could play multiple positions and excel at them all until specialising in one. I think he will end up as a 5/8, but will find Munster blocking him for a couple of years. Nov 1 might be the one and only time he might be seriously tempted to leave. Kyle (or one of our promising halves such as Reed) at half and Tyran at 6 in 2026.The one that got away, like several others. This kid of Rod is a beauty. He is contracted to the Storm to the end of 2025 with a players option. If I was Bellamy, I would get him re-signed before Nov 1.
Agreed.I am just so ready not to see Hunt in the jersey anymore.
Not because I think he is the worst player the put it on or anything like that but , not because I think he is a curse but I just think this club needs a completely new direction.
The coach wants to build us around him but he is not a winner. He goes well in a team of champions but so do lots of players.
I am happy for some novice to play at 7 if it means we don't have to watch Hunt press conferences anymore. Never bought into the club and we never bought into him.
It needs to happen now. I can't do another season of Hunt.
