I’m not sure why Wishart is still being spoken about he has said he wants to stay at Storm & his father has also said he wants him to stay in the Melbourne system. Simply it won’t happen. IMO we should go very hard for Atkinson he came from the Melbourne system & wants to play regular FG which won’t happen at Scumulla so just get it done Flanno !!

Atkinson. Exactly what we want. Combining with Kyle, Cook, and Liddle. Yes. He also comes across as physically sturdy.

He certainly has all the skills, has shown he can cut it in the top grade and now I know he isn't a scummulla jnr but he's an actual scum jnr (from the storm system) makes him even more appealing.

Particularly with Wishy looking less likely...

He is a real live-wire , non stop player , who plays with so much enthusiasm . Yes indeed , I believe I would rather him than Wishart .

By the way , I thought the sound track was almost as good . The ‘ Good , the Bad and the Ugly ‘ if memory serves me correct ?

Atkinson Looks to Sharp for St George, he is just as likely as Wishart.
So Adam Douehi is the one.

At Saints Atkinson walks into a 2025 first grade spot at either 6 or 7. In 2026, with Hunt gone, the team would be his to run. And he looks like the bossy type of half who likes to run things.

Can any other club offer him this kind of career advancement? And if he lives in the shire, he doesn't even have to move.

Cant find a link but Zero Tackle has something on it

‘Illawarra is My Home, I Can’t Say No to Them’ – Storm’s Star Issues Bold Come and Get Me Plea to St. George Illawarra Dragons:
Melbourne Storm’s versatile star, Tyran Wishart, has sent the NRL world into a frenzy by openly expressing his desire to return to his hometown club, the St. George Illawarra Dragons. Following recent rumours that the Dragons are in search of a new playmaker due to the imminent departure of their captain, Ben Hunt, Wishart, who is a local junior from the Illawarra area, has made it clear that if the Dragons come calling, he would find it hard to refuse.
Tyran Wishart, son of St. George Illawarra legend Rod Wishart, has deep roots in the Illawarra community. Growing up with the Dragons in his blood, the 24-year-old is torn between his loyalty to the Melbourne Storm and wanting to step into a leading role at his hometown club.

Something positive for once, even if it is just comment. Makes a pleasant change and it's not another post about Hunt.
