I think the speculation that the fact that Bennett held off announcing his decision until after his "team" had played and the fact that he didn't announce it yesterday meant he was coming to Newcastle is pure fantasy.
I believe that he wouldn't do it just in case it took the wind out of the Knights sails if he said no, prior to tonights game.
I think all the talk about private jets and millions of dollars would have pushed him to the Rabbits, I feel he wouldn't want to be thought of as a coach that went to the highest bidder.
I'm happy to be wrong but I feel he will go to Souths, just to prove all the pundits wrong.
The lifestyle part of the deal will be to much for Bennett to refuse. I think that is what it will come down to.
I don't think Bennett will take the moral highground on 4.2 million dollars or whatever Tinkler's offering.
