Ian Hindmarsh

I gotta say that Ian has been a pleasant surprise this year. After playing in France for the past few years there were always going to be a question mark over his ability to keep up with the pace of the 2007 game.

To his credit he has been one of our best running forwards and scored a bunch of nice tries (+ FG :lol. He will be missed in 2008 and I'm worried that we will be a man down of his quality.

Who do we all think will step up and fill his shoes in the 17 squad ?

I think the next two players to come in are Hauraki and Paulo. Robinson and Wagon will be the workhorses and a few others may get a chance to play first grade.

Yeah.. Unfortunately he is done and dusted when it comes to Footy Tried to use the rationale that if he was still playing out his contract in France he would actually have to play one more year. I guess he just knows its time, and there is so much work on the farm for he and his wife to get stuck into. Broke my heart yesterday tho
