Yep, Brett Lee once again went for over six runs an over. Has there ever been a more blessed cricketer? He's a liability in an otherwise very strong Australian team.

We could have got better with Watson in there. I mean at least he doesn't go for 7 an over, and he can bat more as well! We lost the game by selecting Lee, but not how we bowled.

However, England should have been 2 down in 10 overs, Trescothick was as plumb as you get, and he doesn't give it! What a joke! Now we know why we should hav 2 neutral umpires! Bowden is a good character, but you can't tell me he is one of the best 4 umpires around, because he makes too many crucial misakes!

I think Hogg could have been the decider. Had he played instead of Lee, we may have go the same total, but his spinners may have contained them and at least garunteed a closer finish.

Also I believe the decision to axe Bevan has now been shown up, he may have upped the tempo enough for an extra 30 or so at the end.

Here we go again. . . . it only takes one loss for the doomsdayers to come out. That's the first time we have lost in 15 games against the poms. It had to happen eventually. Well done to them, they were much better on the day. I don't think this threatens our ranking however.

The point is that you were proven wrong and the Lee bashers will proven wrong again. Did Marto cost us any test series? Did he win us any? I think we are better off having him there myself. For god's sake he topscored for us yesterday.

I'm not having a go, but its pretty obvious that Lee's boqling was one of the main factors which cost us the game. It has been a burden the team has had to carry for the last year.

As for Damo, we should not have had to wait a entire 2 years for the man to perform! He's lucky we have a teamful of unreal batsmen that carried his arse for those 2 years.

You have been spoilt with the form of Australia for so long that as soon as someone cops a bit of stick he deserves to be dropped.

Lee is a match winner. He can also cop a hiding but he will be in the side for plenty more ODI's and rightly so. I bet he takes 5 for f**k all in his next ODI.

This, 3 or 4 days after Rudi Coertzen and Steve Buchnor helped turn the tide against the Kiwis with farcical leg before decisions against Marshall at a pivotal stage and the ever dangerous Chris Cairns??
