3/60 in the 20th

Perry still 24no

Another quick wicket or two and this could be a huge upset on the cards

That was miles in but umpire gave it run out , very poor decision

Putting Aust in a strong position to beat South Africa and secure a top 2 spot
SA need another 108 runs off 13.4 overs left - 5 wickets left

By the looks of it we will play either SA or India in the semi final

semi finals confirmed

Tues 18th Poms v SA
Thur 20th Australia v India

FINAL - July 23

Was listening to the commentators last night and they said NZ were the biggest dissapointments finishing 5th. I think that was tough to say considering they had a N/R game against SA, and lost 2 games to the two top ranked sides (us and poms).

We got a tough one against India, hopefully Meg Lannings shoulder is good to got. We should go through regardless

:frowning2: Australia lose semi in a game reduced to 42 overs.

India 4/281. Australia 245.

Harmanpreet Kaur scored171* off 115 to destroy us and knock us out.

England world champions after beating India by nine runs.

A good tournament (despite us getting knocked out in the semis) with more teams competitive and the standard getting better. Just a few years ago it was Australia dominant with England and New Zealand doing ok, now India and SA have joined the party.

One observation the boundaries are getting smaller and smaller. For the final tgere was more room between the boundary and fence then there was in the field.
