They should try Schifcofske at Five-eighth so they can have Chalk at fullback. Its crazy but i'd like to see it.

His kicking and passing game is certainly up to it.

Look how well Lockyer made the switch.

But won't happen.

Chalk worries me under the high ball... rather see him on the wing or centres...

Fosky saves too many points at the back...

Nice thought though... I definately wouldn't bag it...

i wouldnt be opposed to the idea
he'd have to learn to dish the pass off more thou and let his running game become more selective but other than that he has all the skills of it.

not a bad idea, but Chalk isn't as good under the high ball, but is far more aggresive runner, I'd still leave Schif at full back and move chalk in to 5/8.

that is something I'd like to see given a try.

I think Schiff would be a great 5/8th...thought about the idea a few weeks ago, but while we have Smithy there's no need to move him from FB...

I can't understand why People keep suggesting Schifcofske should play at 5/8th. It would be an unmitigated disaster - he is not a team playmaker but more an individually brilliant player. Plus you would weaken one position (fullback, where his defence is magnificent) while not considerably strengthening another (5/8th).

While we're at it, why don't we bring back Terry Martin at halfback? That was a masterstroke when he played in the halves against Melbourne.

You do make some solid points but i dont think it was 'Martin @ halfback' bad an idea!

I know... it's just everytime I think of Martin playing at 5/8th I piss myself laughing

I don't think the shuffle would be very effective in a five eight role, but I'm not saying that he's not up to the task. I think though that Campo needs the games under he's belt if he's going to progress as a player.

I agree, Schiffy would probably do ok, but it'll never happen.

A little more game time for Campo, and he'll come good.

Guys.

Yes, Chalk has played well against the Roosters saturday and gave it his all but the last 2 weeks prior he didnt exactly kill it did he.

Think back...

1st against the sharks he could not read the play and Kimorleys short strole over the line from his kick is a perfect example of that.

2nd. Tigies His Miss on Bengi with Mogg and inability to fall on the ball.

Shif is that safe at the back and does not leat to many players run over him does he??

CLINTON STAYS WHERE HE IS!

1. Your a bit rough on him on him here, he had made a try saver the play before and had stayed down injured a result of that effort. if anything it was the wingers fault for not pushing in and covering a fallen comrade.

2. The miss tackle was equally Mogg's fault as it was Chalky's, but the other one was poor. I guess every fullback has had that happen though so im sure he'll learn from it.

But i do think Schif is better suited to playing fullback, then Chalky to wing and Gafa to the bench, hopefully there by banishing Robbo to PL
