Bad luck for Jamal..we gonna miss him.
Taylor may be a bigger loss cause we need the workhorse in the middle.
Our forwards have looked small and are struggling for metres Jamal really helped with that.

Panthers have to show some real character in the next few weeks.
Just play mistake free and grind out some wins.

Still now there are chances for Blake and Jennings to really stand up.

Always thought Atwood would make it as a hard defensive lock, plus he played well in reserves last week maybe give him a go?

The biggest worry about Jamal getting a season ender will be his desire to come back. It wouldnt surprise me if he goes and sits on a mountain in Tibet to rehabilitate & doesnt come back. I dont mean that as a slight either, I think thats just how he rolls.

A few people have called for Mansour at centre. I dont see it. I dont think Ive seen him pass the ball once and his sketchy defensive positioning suggests to me that he wouldnt have the poise to give his winger good ball.

Yep. Storm & Roosters don't seem to get injuries yet we always do.

Most of us wanted to see Blake in the centres. We now get that not in the way we hoped. Attack wise we will be better off defence weaker.

Has DWZ ever played centre? If so I would be happy to see him move in and bring George Jennings back into first grade. If not, Robert Jennings getting a run would be awesome to see.

Would only be for a week or two until Whare is back. Hopefully we don't see Yeo moved to centre instead of bringing in a Jennings. With our forwards injured, keeping him in the pack is important anyway.

Either way I would push in DWZ and play G Jennings on the wing.

Brisbane finally going well and you start being serious..weird. Anyway G Jennings hasnt dropped out of contention but he is behind Mansour, DWZ and Waqa in the pecking order, he might be behind his little brother for the centre spot as well. He can play centre but he isnt going to play centre for us long term and has played most of his recent footy on the wing, and he has played left side going back to nyc, chucking him in at right centre might not work out well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dallen in the centres. Seems to have the attributes but Whare/Blake and Will Smith and Robert Jennings would need to fall over 1st.

With Mansour coming back, Jennings was always going to be pushed out. On top of that i think he picked up an injury at the same time...??

Id prefer Blake in there, he is going to be a gun.

I do however want Jennings in there also, because he is going to make me a bunch in Supercoach, and it would be pretty selfish of Ivan not to take that into consideration.

Blake has only played RL since 2012. So will struggle at times to read plays etc. Attack more than makes up for it

Blake has been good defensively the last two weeks but he isnt on Jamals level on that side of the ball. Id have Jamal close to the best defensive centre in the comp, great decision makking and he can destroy anyone who runs straight at him, he just lacks that recovery spped for the time he does get beat.

That being said Waqa is a big, strong and fast so theres no reason he cant be a great defensive centre and from what i saw on the weekend the desire and effort is there. But young imexperienced players make mistakes as franklin has said he will make some errors at some point.

Rennings is the 3rd or 4th best centre at the club.
