Let's just say we are looking at a 5/8th from that area of the world. I can't say 100% who it is but that name was mentioned to me.

NOt sure of his contract position mate, but I know for sure he is beind spoken about as a genuine prospect for a sharks jumper in 2005.

I think you also over estimate the kind of money being paid to ESL players too, that coupled with the fact that he would liekly accept HUGE unders to have the chance to finally grace the NRL to cap off his career and I think it's a very good chance he will be here next season.

Particulary if Bird and/ or Sully do not re-sign with us.

It has on the LU home page Harris wants to play for Bradford if and when he returns to league. It appears we arent a chance of getting him.

Sculthorpe sounds like he could be a goer. I wouldnt like to see huge money thrown at him though. When they played the test here a few years back he was one of a few English players that were in the class of the Aussies.

Harris is contracted to the WRU, but can come back to play for any league club due to a clause in his contract apparently.

Either way, I'd say he won't be coming to us.

Hey, it's just a name that was being tossed around by a few people "in the know". I have heard the Sculthorpe rumours too but he is under contract for a few more years. (Not that contracts mean anything.) Either would be good signings IMO.

From what I have heard, Sully will leave us for more money, looks like he might "test the market" anyway. You've all seen the Big League article of him promising his mum that he would set himself up. If he does that then the Sharks will probably pull their offer from the table. Hope he signs before the deadline.
