the thing i dont like about goldy's defence is the grabbing...it is very similiar to Simmons.
Vagana and Mellor may miss tackles, but they at least know how to technically tackle.
I have never played pro footy but put me out there and I know I am not supposed to reach out with my hands to try to stop a 70-100kg man running at me.Especially not in the black,white and blue! I am not saying Goldy and Simmons are alone, but they are the repeat offenders are they not?And stats certainly do not give out all the information so to speak. let's see how young Beau Scott goes second week in.i hope we smash those bastards!

Should pro footy players ever shirt grab? Given his efficiency (90%+) i think you'll find he has a better technique than you give him credit for. I've seen him crunch some big name players with great technique. Granted he has missed a few vital one on one tackles, but labelling him a grabber is going a bit far IMO
