If Cronulla gets relocated does that mean the saints take over that vacant territory? Or will Souths also want some???????
Relocate Cronulla to Perth. Then you can rename the team Southern Dragons/South Coast Dragons and take all their juniors. Win/Win scenario.
Old Timer will have to move with them.If Cronulla moves?
Bullsh*t,will never happen,StGeorge Illawarra Dragons always, and in the REDV.
Old Timer will have to move with them.
:lol:jenninga I am a dyed in the wool St George, 'SAINTS' supporter.
I can imagine Quigsy and Old Timer sitting on their Perth porch looking west over the Indian Ocean, reminiscing about how things were better in the shire before the relocation. And pulling out their photoshop albums and occasional attached images to while away the day.:
Hi Quigs :nwave:
You're just upset because your team got knocked out last Friday.it is overcast and gloomy here this this morning
Just like when the North won the American Civil War we'd need appoint an interim Northern (St George) administration over the South (Shire).
What would follow would be a reconstruction era. Long suffering St George Shire Loyalists would be our foot soldiers in this effort as they try and redeem the honour of their vanquished Home Land and bring them back into the St George Union. All Lebanese slaves will be freed and given plots of land in the Shire.
We will be gracious to all defeated Cronulla Confederates, except for Peter Gow who will be hung from Tom Ugly Bridge.
This topic has been discussed many times before.
St George is a large Nation. It's made of many power factions. All have their own plans and desires for the future of the Sutherland Shire. They basically fall into two groups, those who regard it as a Liberation and those who regard it as a re-conquest.
I fall between these two camps. The Liberationists plans for mine are too soft on the local populace and the treacherous Cronulla fans that dwell within, whereas the Conquerors advocate punitive actions which are not only barbaric but would ultimately prove counter productive, turning away even those who stayed loyal to us after so many decades of Cronulla Occupation.
We have to recognise that this is a complicated and situation and it requires a nuanced approach to the area and it's people. I advocate a middle way - based broadly on the successful re-integration of the Confederate states into the United States after the American Civil War. As I've discussed before:
