It will be the biggest CHOKE in Premiership HISTORY!!! There can be NO disputing that!!!

They have finished the season with no team even remotely close to them at ANY level. Bellamy and co have covered EVERY aspect of their game to near PERFECTION. All t's crossed and i's dotted.

The pressure is on. Can they handle it, or will we see the greatest choke of ALL time???

Biggest in history...doubtful at the least. Parra in 2001 would be pretty close in that regard and that is only looking at recent chokes!

The Broncos form is unreal at the moment.

Their defence is too good for most. It'll be a hell of a battle between them and Melbourne for favouritism. Given how good Brisbane are going, no, I don't regard it as a massive choke if they lose out.

diablo I agree, but I can see the storm fans telling us different, mind you after telling us how they have been streets ahead of everyone else.

Whether it will be the biggest choke in history is a big statement, however, if they don't win it, it will be definately right up there!

Melbourne won more games this year than the '01 eels and the MP by a bigger margin. This would be the biggest choke if they don't go on with it now.

Thing is that I just don't see it "choking" if they lose. In the end there are 5 other sides, plus throw in canberra and parra that could all beat each other on their day. The comp is extremely close. A team only has to be 1% off their game and the opposition will beat them.

if the top 2 teams win the first week, and go straight into the 3rd week, storm and brisbane may have to play each other to get into the grand final (what a game that will be)

So how come that theory only applies to the Storm and not the '01 eels who you said choked.

On a personal level it WILL be the biggest choke in history if we can't carry on our form and go all the way.

One thing is certain, if we choke I will be gutted!

Bloody hard task for the Storm to avoid the choke. Knights have Johns, Broncos on fire and the others could cause them problems.

Difference is in 2001 there were hardly any sides apart from Newcastle and Parra that could legitimately WIN the comp. This year there are 6 genuine contenders plus Canberra and Parramatta. That is where the difference is. But even in 2001, you could say that Parra were just beaten on the day. That is how the cookie crumbles. That is not necesarily choking so to speak.

That's crap. Dogs finished 2nd that year and weren't that far behind us and Brisbane were also right up there.
I think eelsta is right, it's only regarded as choking if it's parra or the dragons.

If the Bulldogs had their full compliment I'd back them to take out the premiership but as it stands I've all but ruled them out. I think other then Melbourne the team playing their best footy would have to be the Broncos. Newcastle aren't to far behind with Johns back next week but it'll be interesting to see how they come back after the bye. Manly have done well but I can't see them winning the comp, could well make the GF though. I don't rate the Dragons at all. The mighty Raiders are more than capable of causing an upset and I think they will get past the Bulldogs but not much further. It's hard to see Parramatta getting past Melbourne next week.
