I don't think that should be an issue. Holding on to Reddy because his son MAY be a future champion is hardly a reason to do so. I wouldn't sacrifice the side for one player.

Avenger I know there are some players you mentioned that have got to be dropped but what did Webster do wrong. He made a break from dummy half to put Graham in the clear. Then Smith took him off after St.George scored and left Dykes on, from there was no hope. #-o

But he always drops the wrong players and doesnt give them a go.

Guys like Armit and Webster are good players but Smith doesnt give enough chances.

And I thought Chris Muckert made an impressive debut for Parramatta, but I dont know why he wasnt used in the second half. :?

What I actually find quite comical is the way some of you carry on about the sanctity of contracts (Lyon agenda), and yet at the first chance would love nothing more than to terminate Smith's contract.

Fair dinkum, I'm fed up of this tripe too. But the whole contract issue is a two way street.

Terminating his contract would also be a moral breach - if you sing a coach to a long term deal, then you must stick with him and see him out. You should expect long term results.

Professional football is a complex business - in a normal business, there are no suspensions, no form lapses, and no injuries.

However, in a normal business if a boss doesn't fire, then HE GETS FIRED.

But it's a load of bollocks. Contracts, whether people like it or not, are BINDING. You should, as an honurable person, stick to your commitment.

Having said this, WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW MR SMITH?
