One or both of he and Jimmy would be a better than 50% chance at being picked. Either way there's a spot at Origin time or for injuries.

Luai needs to play 5/8 not fullback or hooker where he will get injured like last season.Cleary will play origin at halfback for nsw so he can't go to hooker maloney will miss out therefore he needs to move to hooker and make way for luai.If maloney doesn't kickstart our attack against titans then cleary has to put laui at 6 and move maloney to 9.

Luai to 6 and maloney to 9 will speed up our attack at the moment we look so slow with maloney and katoa its not funny.Every time ive seen luai play 1st grade he makes things happen and we look a much quicker team especially in attack.

Maloney at 9....the technical reason yes....the reality no...it could only be a matter of a few weeks before his season would be gone if not his career. ...Reynolds amd Liddle's shoulders couldn't cope at NRL 9 at their body weight and strength level last year. ..Jimmy would give his all and cope untill that first freak wave hits him and it would be all she wrote. ..a certainty

It's been explained multiple times by myself and others why this won't work. Cleary is focused on defence. He's more likely to move Nathan to 9, especially for the final 20, than put Jimmy there. And he's not very likely to do even that. Jerome just has to wait his turn.

A bigger issue is if Luai picks up a major injury and our current halves also get injured.
