I'm going to America

Hey guys,

Thought I'd let you guys know. I'm going to America next week for 3 months. So my posts may dry up a little while I go watch sport and travel. The plan is to see all the major sports, American Football and Baseball in particular.

The football games I'll be going to are 3 Arizona Cardinals home games (Week 2 vs Detroit, Week 10 vs Houston & Week 14 vs St. Louis) and a few college games (Arizona State vs Wisconsin in Arizona, Boise State vs Nevada in Boise and Oregon Ducks vs Utah in Eugene, OR).

I'll try to keep you guys updated and posts photo's, but I'm not sure how frequently I'll be able to do it. Worst case scenario, I'll do it all when I get back.

Can't wait.

Avoid 5 guys and too many pit BBQ restaurants.

They accounted for a fair chunk of my US weight gain trip a few years ago, even though I walked almost everywhere possible to burn calories

Cheers guys. I'm gonna try not to put on too much weight over there, Gonna be hard to avoid the fatty food though.

I've got most of the tickets I need, got them from the teams' ticket office for the most part. I leave Thursday and the first week I'm there I should be at 2 MLB games, the Arizona State game and the Arizona Cardinals game.

I'll take plenty of photo's for you guys.

If you were smart, you'd look at the "What team do you follow" thread, stock up on cheap merch, & come back & hawk it for pure profit!

My advice, get heaps of Eagles stuff. A nice variety. Flexfits not snapbacks though. :lol:

I went to a UCS game in LA and a Ravens game in Baltimore 2 years ago and no sporting event we have here even goes close to them. Went to a padres game in San Diago also was shit lol but it was against the Cubs on the second last day of the season with both teams missing the playoffs by a long way lol so wasn't really expecting an awesome game.

Also, I'll be going to the Boise vs Nevada game in just over a week and I'm going to Denver the week after. I'm trying to see if I can get tickets to the Broncos vs Redskins game, but looking around the prices start from about $200+ for the nosebleeds. I'll check again closer to the date, if I can't get tickets I'll be in a Denver Bar.

I got tickets for the Broncos v Saints game last year behind the posts for $320.00 per ticket. I was very close to the action and got to see Manning v Brees. Money well spent and I'd kick myself if I was in Denver and didn't see one of (if not) the best offenses ever assembled play live. Long way to go to miss out.
