Lucky to have been hooked up last week. Great seats courtesy of a top mate, somewhat well connected, who I actually happened to meet via this fine forum many years back. Turns out I was right after all when I was explaining to my ex-wife that this forum was not "a waste of my valuable time." No wonder I upgraded her.

Parents wouldn't take me to the '73 GF (Too young or something. Pfft.. I was five, goddamit mum). Went to both in '78. That replay was right f*cker. Flew back from London for '97. Knew we were no chance, but still had to be there. Shared a beer with Sludge and Dave Faulkner post game so definitely worth it.

The mighty PP78 got me tickets in bay 122, whuch are kind of in the southern corner. Not great but at least we are on the ground tier.

Best thing i did was book out a weeks holiday 2 months ago. Reason i gave for taking time off? If the Sharks win I'll be pissed for four days straight, then I'll be pissed for the three days after that.
