discuss there efforts and mistakes but why bag them out to the degree that some of you mongrels have.

like say if burt came on here and read those posts how do u think that would effect him, im sure it would be for the worse not the better.

i am a bs fan and in most cases a coach cant be blamed for the on feild performance of the team, in this case i must say the reason we lost on the weekend was hes fault like why on hell did he put one of our best in morris on the bench for most of the first hallf. where down 20 zip morris comes sets up a try and we win the 2nd half (once again) 20 - 4 but winning 2nd half does not cut it when we loose the game.

my faith in bs is starting to where thin.

im mightly pissed off with the performance of our guys just as much as you guys especially when if we had won the last 2 weeks we would be in 2nd possie on the table right now.

but putting our guys down in that fashion just dosent cut it.

i personally think that we are not being harsh at all........just HONEST....our side is full of rejects....apart from hindy...imagine if he got injured??...id put $5000 on us to get the spoon!!!

Do you wonder WHY he started Morris from the bench? Was Morris carrying an injury as reported earlier and he though he may cover him from the expected onslaught. Posts in this Forum have been screaming for Thorman to get a go. When he does, what happens out come the cross and nails ready to crucify the coach. Too much bagging, not enough support. I take the other way to a degree people haven't been hard enough. The performance put on was a disgrace.

I can accept Parra losing because they lost to a team that played better
I can go along if Parra just have an off night where a couple of things go wrong
I can respect the players efforts if they get screwed by the ref

however last night at least for the 1st 40 mins Parra simply did not put in, did not try and showed no heart.

and that is unacceptable.

Phillips: BS, the ref may have had a bad game but, if Parra showed even 1/2 a heart in the 1st half (try saying that 10 times quickly) then the refs performance wouldn't have been an issue.

that second half was full of headhunting i haven't seen since the 98 Norths final. Could very well have changed our season if we got to have another shot straight away this weekend.

But with 2 weeks until we play again itwould be damn hard to hold the motivation and fire.

I think it is important to disucss what we see as our weaknesses and but I also see it healthy to discuss our strong points.
Unfortunately there was not many strong points from the first half of footy on Saturday night. :roll:

HJ although it would have caught melbourne after an embarrassing loss I still think we can use that motivation in 2 weeks. However I also believe the Jersey in itself should be enough motivation alone each and everytime they step onto the field!!!

Even though there hasn't exactly been a lot to jump up and down about lately, IMHO some of the criticisms aimed towards the players have been a little harsh. Maybe last weekend's efforts will be the wake-up call the team needs, and things will turn around from here? It's not too late for that, even at this point in the competition.

I'll criticise our team because over the last 2 weeks those performances have been disgraceful. When our team plays good...i'll talk us up all the way and when our team puts in a "performance" like Saturday night you bet your ass i'll say they were shit house. I'll call it how it is. And while I may be harsh I don't think we're gone yet for the year. Hell it was only 2 weeks ago we should have been leading the comp. And as much as that thought alone makes me want to pull my hair out I think if the boys can learn from the last 2 weeks we'll win some matches against quality teams and make the finals.

They derserve all the crap they get,I've never seen a bunch of heartless players in Parramatta jerseys.

Even back in the early 90's we had a nothing team but at least they played with some ticker...Like in 1994 was it? when they beat Brisbane 12-8,The Eels players should be made to watch that game over and over again and then maybe they will find out what playing with heart is.

There is only a handful of players playing with any heart what so ever and thats Grothe,Hindmarsh,Peek,Morris and Stapleton...As for the rest :roll: :roll: :roll:
