In my opinion i believe wing is held back by his looks. Most fans think he is a pretty boy so he must be crap, despite his extreme skill. If he was as ugly as lockeyer he could be Australian captain by now!

I'm sorry RoostarGirl, while I do understand what you are saying about having the teenyboppers support the club, they p*** me off for a couple of reasons. One, I personally go onto the Wall to interact about football with fellow supporters and I hate having to wade through all the useless posts about who's soooooo cute etc. While I have eyes and can recognise a good looking man when I see one, I don't actually give a rats, all I care about is whether they can play football. Just post in the Away from the Game section 'cause that's what its there for. BTW this also applies to threads about what cheerleader you would have a go at too. :roll:

I don't like lots of things I read in lots of posts...but hey....I just read them and move on....reply when I feel like it and don't when I don't.

I am a mad Roosters fan and have been since my first match when I was 2 back in the old Sports Ground days....no need to justify to me why you follow football I hear you.

I couldn't care less whether people lump me in the "she only follows footy category for the boys not the game" to be perfectly honest...I know exactly why I follow football......and others opinions unless friends and family mean nothing, I don't know why you felt the need to single me out when you were replying.

I was just trying to make a bit of a joke of the thread, sorry....seems like you take it way serious.

I actually use the away from the game forum on the Wall for many things.....thanks for your referral.

Oh crap, I didn't mean to single you out RoostarGirl in a negative way and I'm sorry if it reads that way. I was just meaning that I can understand your point of view (and others I'm sure), but that I happen to have a different one and was simply explaining why. I hope you don't think that I was pointing you out as an example of one of these supporters in question, 'cause nothing could be further from the truth, but you seem to have taken it really personally. As above, I said that I understand your viewpoint, but mine's different.

And I certainly wasn't saying that my opinion is right and yours is wrong - believe me, that is something that I would never do, I'm a firm believer in freedom of expression etc. We're all different (some more than others ;-) ) and thank goodness for that.
