Image projection

I'm not even sure if that's the right term for it, but anyway.

Does anybody know anyone who could be considered a bit of a guru in the art of projecting moving images onto "unusual" surfaces. And I'm talking big images here - IMAX film size images, probably even bigger (think of Elvis in Rubber-Necking baby).

Just need some advice at the moment for a little big surprise I'm planning. Because I need to know if my theory matches practicality or if they're actually in completely different realms of reality.

Anyone here work in an IMAX theatre perhaps?

I don't know much about projectors. If its a prank then the best thing to do would be to talk to some graduated uni students. They usually know how to plan really effective pranks.
