Imagine my surprise when

Heading home from Balmain woolies i flick on talkin sport and they are interviewing none other than the supercoach himself .. tom shines esquire. He was given a very cushy ride (as is the norm) and wasn't asked one hard question. Waffled about the grapple, dominant/surrender, change to interchange rule etc etc.

Obviously the talkin sport folk glosses over issues such as his win ratio with the Tigers, win ratio since 1996, his record of signing players, his nepotistic recruitment manager, the team's surrender, royce's sh*t coaching of the defence, his continual picking of underperforming players etc etc etc.

The only hope i see this year is that it appears the rule changes (grapples/interchange) should suit us with our smaller pack and we also won't get as wrestled/dominated in the ruck as we have been. Tommy Shines may have a pair of 6s up his sleeve (trumping Ronald's pair of 3s) and have a last hurrah in steering us to 11th instead of the predicted 15th or worse

As I have said before, the media either love him or are bloody scared of him. Their is never a negative headline and the man name is thrown up their with Gibson and Ryan. Mr 33% is the last of the untochables

It is unbelievable how the Tim SHeens myth perpetuates on the back of a comp won (when over the cap) with the likes of Daley, Clyde, Stuart, Meninga, Belcher, Lazarus etc etc etc etc and 16 good weeks since John Howard became PM in 1996
