OK, folks, back from another stunning victory at the Kingsway. For those interested (and be honest, that's all of you) we are sitting quite well and look nice for the Division 2 playoffs in 6 weeks.

So, here's a copy of the email I received from the guy I was liaising with at ANZ Stadium. It is addressed to Kirra Hooke at Parra because they will be putting it up on their website so people can buy tickets if they want to join us.

NOTE: They will not be releasing the information and password until we've had a fair crack at tickets. However, I've got 400 seats to fill and if we don't buy them all then we need to be prepared now to fill them so that it looks as good as possible.

Kirra,

As discussed we have been in discussion with John Ryan regarding his approach to the NRL about holding an allocation of seats in s146-1 for the Blue and Gold Army to purchase into.

We have finalised all the relevant information regarding the process that will be in place which I have detailed below with an opening blurb.

Ticketek have some minor adjustments to make to the web page but it will be ready to go by 9am tomorrow morning.

Thanks Alan

Blue and Gold Army – in heart of the action!

The Blue and Gold Army has been allocated a reserved section in the heart of the action at ANZ Stadium for Friday night’s NRL preliminary Final.

Thousands of Eels supporters will congregate in the southern half of ANZ Stadium and the Blue and Gold Army will take pride of place in Aisle 146-1.

However, you must pre-purchase your reserved seat and use a password to guarantee your spot in the Blue and Gold Army reserved section.

To do this, go to http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=BLUEGOLD09, call 132 849 or go to a Ticketek outlet. You must use the password “XXXX” to purchase a seat.

Don’t miss this blockbuster! 60,000 fans are expected at ANZ Stadium and we know you want the Eels to outnumber the Bulldogs. Get your ticket and wear your colours with pride.

Very good stuff from all concerned.
John has done some amazing groundwork, in fact, most of it, and deserves a round of applause.
The club have been very supportive. As have Stadium Oz, Ticketek and the NRL.

This has been evidence that efforts like these will be supported by the general league fraternity and in particular, all levels of heirachy.

It is up to as many of us now as possible, to support this push and repay the confidence that has been shown us.

Personally, I'd like thank those that were involved in making this possible.

Let's get out there now, fill all the Parra bays that we can, and do everything we can to get our team another game next week.
