I reckon Flanno is having buyers remorse with the Atkinson signing.

It’s quite clear that he has regressed as a player and they paid what half a million for him?
I don’t know that that Atkinson ever achieved great heights tbh. We all got a bit excited when he kicked that match winning field goal against his old club. No doubt he tries hard but I don’t even know if he’s an upgrade on Flanno junior tbh. I think it was a knee jerk reaction when he missed out on AFB tbh. Similar to when he signed Moyza when we lost Jimmy.

Maybe not that scenario.
Moyza wanted out of the Riff, and Hook. The Flange wanted to have Moyza play FB and keep Jimmy. Gould was having none of that, told him straight up "you can have one or the other, you can't have both"
The more comparable is Flange panic buying SJ when Holmes walked out.
There are many complaints about Hynes wage on here, and yes I too think it is too much,
but,
don't ever forget what Flanno did, SJ, Moyza and Dugan all on $900k+. Add in the last couple of years of Woods (he did get him very cheap for the first couple)
How the Dargs ever let him near their cap is beyond me, obviously they didn't do their due diligence.

Everyone is always on about Hynes mental health but Trindal is the one who throws his toys out the cot every time something goes wrong.
Punching the ground, shaking his head, turning his back, trying even harder to make up from mistakes or misses. No control over his own self let alone control of a team.

Hynes and Trindall express frustration differently. Trindall is expressive and gets easily distracted. Hynes withdraws and goes inward. He is often 'in his head' in clutch moments hence the reputation for not delivering. Neither are especially helpful reactions in the pace of the NRL and their roles in driving the team. Maloney was top standard goldfish memory. Let go of what has been and focus on the next thing.

IMO - Trindall needs to grow up and get more emotional maturity. Cleary's biggest asset is his mind. He isn't the most gifted player but is the most influential because of his focus. Cronk was the same.

This Sharks team needs both Hynes and Trindall at their best playing and at their best as leaders. They have different issues but neither leads at the required standard for this team to challenge right now. Personally, this is the core of my frustration with the team this year. The comp is wide open and the Sharks aren't showing the ruthlessness needed get the job done. However, things can change quickly...

What I am seeing each game is Trindall get more frustrated which is a concern.
Hynes when he can float around the field is at his best.
Trindall would be a easy offload for the club end of next season, if we bomb out in finals due to halves, next season you would be looking at Pollard/Hynes

And you have exactly the same issue as now given that Pollard is an out and out 7 and Hynes is still Hynes.

Yeah that all sounds about right. Agree that Flanno is f**ken good at paying overs for players. Must be even harder now he’s trying to entice players to a basket case of a club. Many more lols in store.

What? How did I regurgitate Facebook rumours? I asked the question about the rumours regarding Jayden Campbell and then you said it’s come from Facebook

I despise the sharks fans on social media as much as most of us here. I don’t understand what you’re saying here mate sorry

Campbell rumour is a weird one, there is 3 clubs involved.
* He wants to be a titans for life
* Sharks because born here, dad played here.
* Is off to Perth, that one has been around for a while.

Fair enough mate, I assumed it as cools had posted it last week sometime, had a look and saw that place was running rampant.
It amazes me how some on there never learn, as in, if the Sharks were interested in Campbell then you can guarantee that no-one except the organisation would know about it, let alone spreading it on social media.
Carry on mate.
