I wouldn't be to hard on our Wests Tiger boys today,we were missing Tuaki Ryan, Gibbs, Fulton,and Payten. After last Monday nights tough encounter against Manly first up I expected a loss today.

Losing Fulton at the kick-off was a pretty savage blow for us today. That said, I expected the loss too. I reckon the Roosters look pretty good with that Carney feller at the back. Pity.

To MACNAZ Did you think we had more depth this year or do you listen to the idiots on the Radio/TV,Newspapers. I wasn't impressed all that much Moors Reserve grader at Penrith, Cayless 5 Years in the ESL gone soft,Arana Taumata probably played less than 10 games in 2 years with 3 other clubs Tame Tupou came back a crock from ESL, Daniel Fitzhenry was never much good, Brown And Daniella were only reserve graders or fringe 1st graders at Cronulla And Penrith. So where is the depth?

I can live with a loss and was also expecting it once i heard about Gibbs and Fulon. The depth was tested and the new boys did OK. Farah, Marshall & Moltzen let us down, forcing the pass, not finding touch, missing important tackles, dropping the ball in our in goal.

Farah has 1 really bad game a year but being as good as he is, he always comes back better the next round and what a better time to do that than against the eels.

Yeah HOLMAN it was pretty much a sarcastic comment mate. Amongst the idiots you mentioned talking up our superb aray of depth there was one TIM SHEENS, blowing his load and crapping on about this is the best squad he has ever had at the club etc , and after only one round of football we are already found wanting in the talent department. I agree with you totaly about our purchasers over the off season, they were very average buys to say the least.

to NC You tell me who the standout off season recruit apart from Lote will be I hope I am wrong but I couldn't get enthused about our purchases,it is only my opinion that is what this site is about,let's have a great season.

From yesterdays game I would say Mark Flannagan is a stand-out recruit, but it's a long season and one good run wont get you the distance.

That said, I wouldn't have picked him before I saw him play. Before a game had been played, I thought Cayless would have been our best buy. Our recruitment has been poor. Let's hope Tuqiri makes it as a full-back because if he doesn't, we're in for another long, hard season.
