Another Eel in line to return to action is Matt Keating, who has been sidelined since round four after nearly losing a finger after he was bitten by his family dog.
Keating will see a specialist on Tuesday to see if he can play but coach Steve Kearney hinted even if the hooker is given a green light he is unlikely to return against the Cowboys.

THE Eels' fast-fading premiership hopes were hit again with centre Joel Reddy likely to spend time on the sidelines with an injured pectoral muscle.

Reddy suffered the knock late in the game against the Cowboys on Saturday and had strapping across his chest at Parra's recovery session. Scans today will reveal the full extent of how long Reddy will be out of play, but he definitely won't be seen for a few weeks. Winger Etu Uaisele also picked up a rib injury for Wenty in the NSW Cup and will also be missing for a minimum three weeks.
