Baz, any updates on that bowling shoulder?

Cheers for thinking of me mate. I had a bit of a trundle yesterday out of sheer necessity. Got carted, no pace so I was switching between dinky little swingers and off breaks, but we also only had 5 players and I did snag an LBW with a nice little in-swinger. I won't be bowling again any time soon unfortunately

Ultrasound came back clear which is a little perplexing. X-ray the next step to check for calcification or any potential issues. Then intensive physio and a potential specialist review.

In short, put me down as indefinite.

Ok so we are now 5 days post surgery and things are going ok. Still feel like I'm being hit in the shin with an axe for the first few minutes every time I stand up but sleeping is now possible albeit with the help of heavy doses of narcotics. According to the doc I'll be able to do 1km runs within 2 months which will be a good effort considering it has probably been 10 years since I've done that

Rest up and soak that pity up my friend lol.

Updated Injury Report from the Clubs website, has us looking okay on troop numbers but missing some of the FG quality we may need over the next 2 months or so.

An update on the Parramatta Eels squad heading into Round 20 of the 2017 NRL Telstra Premiership against the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium on Sunday 23 July.
Josh Hoffman – Round 22 – knee
Frank Pritchard – Round 21 – foot
Kaysa Pritchard – Season – knee
Beau Scott – Season - bicep
Isaac De Gois – Indefinite – concussion

O'Brien shredded his ankle something fierce way back against Wyong. Fairly certain it ended his season.
