Inside Australia's Greatest Rugby League Side we've ever seen

Sad part is that Bellamy has proven that he can take mediocre players and get them to do a job time and time again.

He probably would have been listed as one of the all time great coaches without the asterisk next to his name.

The Storm could probably have been as successful legitimately and probably didn't need to rort the cap.

Unfortunately they did rort it and so we'll never know.

Until he maintains the dominance he's had without Cronk, Slater and Smith, then I'm not going to label him a 'supercoach'. Still clearly a very good coach though

Where is the inside story on australias most mediocre rugby league team the canberra raiders. that is the article i am keen to read
The lauded author is probably just recycling story he wrote in 1994 - search and replace Canberra with Melbourne, Meninga with Smith, Cronk with Stuart and Slater with Mullins/Belcher, etc

MELBOURNE Storm wrapped up another minor premiership on Saturday night to confirm their ranking as Australia’s most successful football club in any code over the past 15 years.
.”
Good to see him open up with an error. Its not likely but both Broncos and Roosters can still win the minor premiership at this stage. Needs storm to lose all three remaining rounds, but hey never know.

Was hoping for a few meltdowns in here tbh, but most replies have been pretty measured.

Gong Panther stupidity on display again though does not disappoint.

Lol, buzz finally writes a positive article about rugby league and most on here want to pull it apart for statistical accuracy! Maybe he should stick to his death riding to keep you all happy?

You serious?? The narrative completely ignores the cap issues which, despite everything, still resulted in them keeping the players they wanted.
If the drunk wants to do a puff piece on the Storm make it from 2011 onwards & about how they have rebuilt. Last 15 years FFS.
Rothfield must have been sober when he dribbled this article together.
