Thus far this season, our attack looks much more dangerous than previous seasons, more potent than Hunt ball.
The problem is, our defence is still deplorable.
Fix the defence and we will be fine.
Dangerous?
Wowee you're more delusional than anyone on here gives you credit for.

The end over end illias kicks with no one chasing, yes so dangerous!

Go back and have a look at most of our tries this season and you'll see the majority have been scrappy tries from the back of errors/loose balls/opposition players injured.

Fair call at least we're competing on those things but it is nowhere near DANGEROUS, that is just an absurd comment from you, unsurprisingly though.

Your man the drug cheat is doing zilch to improve the attack of our once great team and I hope for the betterment of the team he resigns or is sacked ASAP.

With respect Gardenia, I think you are getting worked up over nothing regarding Amone.
Nobody thinks he’s ever coming back to dragons. Nobody at the club has mentioned his name since he left.
It was just some totally bizarre comment from the tigers supporter that he’s even being discussed. His career is done with us.
Regarding Flano coaching techniques, I can see your point, he’s not perfect. But the positives out way the negatives at this stage IMO. I’m invested in Flano for the long term, if he can’t get us up the ladder then I don’t know who will.
We should bounce back, the bye may be what we needed, a couple of weeks to reset, reality check and come back better.
Thanks for your comment. I'm not worked up at all, but I’m just not a fan of anyone joining or rejoining our club who has a violent past. I know that may sound harsh, and I understand that Amone is young, but the reports of him showing no remorse are concerning. While I believe that everyone, especially young people, deserves a second chance, I hope that if he genuinely wants to turn his life around, he finds success.

However, considering our struggles with recruitment and the media attention surrounding us in recent years, I think it might not be the best look for the club. I'm relieved to hear that it’s not happening.

I also have a lot of faith in Flanno — he’s a winner. That said, I thought the situation with Christian was pretty harsh, and I felt sorry for him.

Why don't you disappear for 5 months again and maybe come back with a new song. Sick of hearing this one on Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.

You'd struggle to want to recruit him again if he was an consistent NRL level player. He isn't so why would you want him.

Amone shouldn't even be in the conversation imo.

With Reed, LKT and to a lesser extent Tikinau, we have good talent coming through, especially in the short term.
Add in Atkinson, plus our current halves pairing in Ilias and KFlan, we are well served.

Our greater focus should be on who we need to keep and who may or may not make the grade. Latu is a prime example of this.

With new teams entering the competition, the available players will diminish very quickly, so we have to be very selective on every player in every position, not just 1yr forward but 3 or even 5 yrs in advance.

For this reason alone, Amone, is surplus to anything we are trying to build and maintain.

The LKT v Amone comparison is especially apt. Both strong, robust body shapes but LKT plays 13, 6 and 7 and is much busier in both attack and defense. I never rated Amone.

Amone was a one trick pony who was also pretty lazy in defence whereas LKT shows a lot more effort. I like how despite not being the quickest player, he always finds a way to back up and support when a break is made
