Intentionally Not Packing Scrum

Getting sick of seeing teams not packing scrums when near their line. This should be made a professional foul and the captain of the offending team be sin binned or alternatively both wingers off the field for the attacking set. It’s a blight in the game when players breach the rules to their advantage. I guess they could make it a non differential penalty and give the attacking team a choice of a shot at goal, or take the wingers off for that set. Something has to be done

Isnt rule if not packed in 35 seconds its a penalty

Just reduce the time clock to 20 seconds

It isnt intentional. Its absent mindedness.

Dont think so, in the trials the Eels seem do it fairly intentionally V tigers. Its smart. Would you rather have a scrum 10ms out where 6 guys are out of the defensive line, or 6 tackles from a tap with a full defensive line?

As others have said, should a penalty where you can take a shot at goal or an automatic sin bin

If its intentional i think they should sin bin the captain and both wingers.
Also the Canberra Raiders should be awarded 2 competition points irrespective of their involvement in the play or game.
