First Grade

Last saturday night a friend of mine (another tigers nut case) ran into a tigers first grader at a club. When asked how things look in 2008 the reply was "we are going to struggle big time" Went on to say you never really know but his gut feelings were closer to the bottom than the top. Went on say theirs no real buz in the place and short of some real quality in the place.

This may have been a big wind up or even the grog talking, but where their is smoke theirs usually fire--ps this player is close to the club power base

Maybe also the old Sheens underdog campaign underway early--who knows--but its alright for me to be the gloom and doom man but when a player comes out with gloom and doom Iam worried

They ain't stupid. They know we'll be seeing the likes of junior burger and that cretin morris most weeks. We'd struggle to beat Wentworthville with that clown in the halves. Was the club in question Sapphire ? And if so, are we in the market for Hasan Saleh to make a comeback or would he provide too much competition for Junior Burger. They can shove their membership up their arse this year. I'm a telstra member so i'll just pay on the gate at the other venues. What is honestly to be excited about. We have a spastic in a key position in morris, a coach with a sub 40% win ratio since 1996 and a defensive coach who has his teams tackling so well the team concedes 25 points a game most weeks. These 2 clowns are assisted by a nepotistic recruitment manager and a CEO who will whore out home games for 20c, unaware that winning games at proper home venues is what gets teams to semi finals, sponsors on board etc. The wests tigers gypsy roadshow .. coming to a venue near you in 2008 with 4 home grounds.

We`ve still got plenty of up and comers with big potential, but there`s division between players, coaches, managament and the board, the place is in crisis and nothing short of a sensational start to the season will see this all come out in the open !!!

i think we will do fine

we were going great before hodgo got injured

then when we had best field of year on paddock against cowboiys we smashed em

then hodgo got injured again with corked leg and Farah played last 4 games with an awful hip injury we never really recovered after that.

a healthy 1 7 and 9 and we should be fine.

hopefully we sign head and if he stays healthy we could really push fora top 6 spot

My guess would be it's one of:
Benji
Farah
Payten

Can discount Hodgo, Halatau, Fitzy, Phatz, Tuiaki, Galea gone, Morris (on account of him being the last one to bemoan lack of quality), Lawrence and Collis (not senior enough), Gibbs has a young un, Galloway is a churchy, O'Hara (see Morris)

Do i get my prize ?

galloway may be a churchy, but ive seen him tanked up plenty of times, mainly at oatley pub.

i dont really believe this, be surprised if a player would say that to a random.

Wouldn't be supprised if its true
but at the same time, i'd be very angry if it was

i too had a nice chat to a former Wests Tigers come North Queenslander only last night in a club somewhere in sydney. Needless to say, this player was in the same state as described above and he too had a few nice things to say about the club.
Don't stretch your imagination too far when pondering on what was said.
Nothing damaging, but nothing complimentary
