Interesting story re: Sharks PL side

On Friday night the Balmain PL side lost 26-24 vs the Cougars, which gave the Sharks PL side a fighting chance at making the 8 when they took on the Bears on Sunday afternoon.

However they needed to win by a massive 60 points.

Most people would think that this was not possible to overcome.....

Most people would be right!

They won 76-18, a 58 point margin!

That has to be the most heartbreaking win EVER! You'd rather lose IMO than miss out by 2 points.

Ahh, it was not to be. Still, they lost a few too many games earlier in the year that were costly.

Lol. Sounds like us over the last two season. Teams shouldnt have to win by margins to get in.

How would the goal kicker feel? Probably missed one shot somewhere, despite knocking over about 12 others...

coming so close but being so far...

would be almost as disappointing as losing a grand final in the final minute after leading for the entire game.

in the end it doesn't matter, the Roosters have bought off the lower grades anyway. 8)
