Plenty of action this weekend, here's a quick summary...
Scottish Cup Final
Aberdeen Warriors 28-22 Edinburgh Eagles
All-Irish Grand Final
Barnhall Butchers 25-24 Treaty City Titans
Caribbean Cup
Canada 24-20 Jamaica

Interesting to note that in Ireland, if Titans had won it would have been their 8th Premiership in 10 years... Great to see they were all such close games...

In other action, Skane Crusaders of Sweden won the 9s tournament in the Czech Republic, while the Amsterdam Cobras defeated the Rotterdam Pitbulls in the inaugural Dutch Derby...

If a mod could please edit the title to read 'International' that would be great! Thanks :)

Any idea of crowds, any coverage in the media?

I know that Canada have drawn some good crowds in their short history.

Thanks for the updates lp. As well as the Treaty City Titans dominating RL in Ireland, isn't it a similar situation in Scotland with the Edinburgh Eagles?

Pretty impressive if they actually played at Aloha Stadium, that's where they host the NFL Pro Bowl and holds around 50,000.

I'm also impressed that these matches actually made the Sky Sports website.

Almost makes you feel as if you need certain peoples/nations/groups playing the game to actually get some exposure.

FYI.

Wonder if a Pacific Residents Round Robin tournament would ever be of benefit to growth of the game ?

The USA Tomahawks proved too strong for Toa Residents by winning 18:12 at Aloha Stadium in the weekend.

Rugby League Samoa President, Su'a Fa'afouina Su'a says "it was a brutal match with both teams but I take my hat off for our Residents who played against 70% of the Tomahawks 2013 World Cup squad coached by Matt Elliot."

"It was a tough encounter and we lost both our centers 3 and 4 (Lepupa and Logofaalii) in the first five minutes of the game which led Toa coach Ponifasio Vasa to move Gordon Lemisio from prop to inside centre and Arden McCarthy to outside centre."

"In the end it was the Tomahawks who made the least mistakes which makes them the better team of the night."

"I am still proud of our boys [they tried] their best but the completion and 70% possession to USA during the game depleted their energy from defence" says Su'a.

David Fetalaiga was named man of the match for Samoa.

The Toa Residents leave Hawaii for Pago Pago on Monday night to arrive in Apia the following day.

Rugby League Samoa thank the Tomahwaks and the State of Hawaii for their hospitality and support. Thanks also to Grand Pacific Events and a special fa'afetai to our Samoan community in Hawaii.

Toa Samoa will kick off the Four Nations Tournament against England on October 25th at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
