Investor Opportunity for the Jacksonville Axemen:
Thank you to every fan, sponsor and player who has made The Jacksonville Axemen the most successful Rugby League team in the USA. Over the last ten years, the Jacksonville Axemen have hosted the largest Rugby League events in the United States and has become the best known Rugby League brand in the USA. The Axemen have merchandise sales reaching fans in more than ten countries, as well as strong domestic support. The Axemen also have the largest home game attendance figures, highest social media reach, and proven on field success that includes a regular season, home game winning record, that remains intact and dates back to 2008.
THAT IS SEVEN STRAIGHT YEARS OF GIVING OUR FANS HOME GAME WINS TO CELEBRATE!! THIS OF COURSE INCLUDES FIVE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP APPEARANCES, AND TWO CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHIES!
After growing three Minor League teams in 2012 & 2013 in Orlando, Daytona and Tampa, as well as the Jacksonville "Hatchets", that operated below the Axemen, we announced the creation of the Atlanta Rhinos, Central Florida Warriors, and Tampa Mayhem in 2014. In just two short years, the operating groups in those cities have grown their teams to be so competitive, that last year all 4 teams in the Southern Conference were a chance of the Title into the Semi Finals.
As of this week, the changeover of ownership to each of those three operating groups is now complete, and all three expansion teams are now owned and operated by their respective investors. I am proud to have had the opportunity to know with these men, and without any doubt believe in their passion for Rugby League, and their business acumen to drive their teams into a bright future.
I honestly feel that these groups of men hold the same passion and desires for the game that Drew and Myself have done since the creation of the Axemen in 2006. I am very proud and honored that they found us, agreed to partner with us in 2014, and could not have wished for better groups to continue the progress of the past two years.
THE FINAL PART OF THE RESTRUCTURE IS TO FIND AN INVESTING PARTNER/OWNER FOR THE JACKSONVILLE AXEMEN. THE NEW INVESTOR WILL OWN 25% OF SOUTHEASTERN RUGBY LEAGUE LLC. (THE OPERATING COMPANY OF THE JACKSONVILLE AXEMEN) IDEALLY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON(S) OR BUSINESS, WHO HAS AN INTEREST IN HELPING CONTINUE THE SUCCESS OF THE AXEMEN, BE INVOLVED IN OPERATING AND BUSINESS DECISIONS, AS WELL AS UTILIZING THE AXEMEN AS A VESSEL TO PROMOTE AND ADVERTISE THEIR OWN COMPANY OR BRAND. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTNER WHO WANTS TO SEE THE AXEMEN, AND RUGBY LEAGUE IN THE USA, CONTINUE TO GROW TO NEW HEIGHTS, AND ENJOY THE SUCCESS OF THE USA HAWKS COMPETING IN THE 2017 RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP. WE WANT SOMEONE WITH THE SAME PASSION WE HAVE!!

And for those who have asked, my reasons for moving on from Rugby League in the USA are personal, and there is most certainly nothing negative about anything to do with the health of the game here. I have stepped down from both the USARL LLC. and INC. boards, but have total faith in everyone who remains involved. I was proud to see the USA Hawks advance to the World Cup with a team that included 15 domestic players, and know that the standard of domestic Rugby League is only going to improve each year with the USA Rugby League.
After playing my first game of Rugby League for the USA almost 20 years ago, and especially since the creation of the Axemen in 2006, there are just too many people to thank by name, so to you all, thank you for letting me be part of the passion we all hold for the growth of this great game.
