I'm convinced we bought him busted though. He has got a nice retirement cheque from us. I hope the med retirement goes through. We have already given Olam far more than he has given us.

It was a really poor recruitment decision and swapping Blore for him was dumb. Blore would be good in our squad now as well.

I think he was a reasonable player, I was hoping they kept.
But in 3 seasons he played 33 games, interestingly, he played 24 games last year for the Storm.
If it meant us, getting the Fainu bros, then I'm all good.

Completely agree. TDS has been pretty disappointing in his 2 hit outs. For mine Hope should get the starting job in round 1, and then play 14 when Api gets back. That's if we decide to play 2 hookers and not a 4 man forward rotation, or something else.

I think we need to clear a top 30 spot to have Hope, and given it looks like they want to keep Fainu and we’re gonna need a quality centre Hope’s hopes are slim. I agree he looks handy though, had two pretty solid hit outs

Fainu is a ½ so it's between TDS and upgrading Hope.
I think the fact that the club has invested so much into TDS development through pathways I can't see Hope making it.
We have such a log jam of half's and dummy halfs. Bud's future with the club is unclear too.
However you have to question why Hope was given two trials...a favour? The guy is awesome and I wish him and his young family well.
