INVITATIONS: Teams for 2005!

The Forum Sevens is proud to announce a 12 team competition for 2005. A committee of 7 forummers made the selections and we wish to invite the following teams to compete in this year's competition:

Bluebags
Sharks
Souths
Lions
Rhinos
Easts
Panthers
Eels
Pirates
Bulls
Dirty Reds
Raiders

Regarding the Warriors. We agonised over this but decided that they weren't quite ready to join. That's not to say they can't have a go later this year when we run the 2005 Possibles vs Probables trials (or similar). We'd like to thank Robster for having a go and wish him the best of luck next time.

Naturally, we'd still like to see all the Warriors players involved in the F7s of 2005. I'm sure there are teams with spots still available.

Congratulations to all captains and players of the 12 teams and good luck in what promises to a fantastic year of the F7s.

The Lions accept the Invitation as well. Congrats to Raiders, Reds and Bulls. It was a hard choice but I think we got it right. And good on Robster for having a go at it!

The USF Bulls accept the invitation into the 2005 F7's Competition.

Congrats to the Reds and Raiders for joining us as debutants in 2005, much deserved, look forward to many F7 battles.

To Robster and the Warriors,

Commiserations. Tough call obviously though anyone interested in joining the USF Bulls team can PM myself to talk over.

Thanks for the vote in confidence, see you all soon starting with the Raiders on February 6 for the innaugral PvP Cup.

Cheers

USF Bulls

Congratulations to all the new teams who are now in the competition. Can't wait to play you all on the F7's field.

To all the new players, The F7's is a great and very fun concept. Sure we probably didn't enjoy writing essays in school (I don't), but the game is a hell of a lot of fun. You'll embark on this concept and will realise how much fun it really is.. (Who would have thought writing essays about Footy would be fun!) Unlucky to the Warriors, and I hope all the guys find a team because I for one would be very disappointed to see some players not make it into sides and be able to play. Best of luck to all teams in 2005, and good luck to all the new players coming up in their first year in the competition!

Of course we accept!

To the Warriors, bad luck, but I'm sure you'll all be back with a vengeance for the 2006 season.

If any of you are keen to play, the Dirty Reds have a place or two free, so don't hesitate to swing by and signal your interest if you're interested.

I guess until someone at Sharks steps up, I'll stand in. And Sharks are low on players, will take anyone of you Kiwis.

Looking to take it out this year.

And then Captain Obvious said to his sidekick, "My friend, eventually, we all die as well".

ALL 11 teams I would envisage (hopefully) would want to take out the 2005 title, look forward to kickoff ;-)
