then the showed Danny Morrison showing a thermometre and it crept up to about 41.2. It's heat like that that not only tip me in favour of having the Strategic Time out. Cuz you dont normally have drinks breaks in Twenty20 cricket. Makes me remember why I retired from cricket.

Wonder if on the way to the ground today saw the rats running away.

Delhi beat KKR last night

Warner made an unbeaten ton, nannes went at less than 5 rpo, mcdonald got a couple of wickets and david hussey took one of the best catches you will ever see, it makes adam voges catch on the boundary at the scg look mediocre.

Id like to see Warner back in the ODI side

We know he will either get out for a very low score, or a quickfire 40-50
Either way he wont be wasting a lot of balls. Overall he will win us a lot of games with his explosiveness, taking advatnage of the limited field setting early
We have enough blokes in the middle order who can control the innings if 2-3 quick wickets fall

Worth having him open with Sunshine IMO

Painful to watch Kallis bat too slow for IPL he bats out the 20 overs every game as opener he should have a ton FFS

Chennai win by 5 wickets, Kallis probably batted abit too slow which limited the Bangalore total, didn't give White and KP enough balls to score off. I reckon on a good pitch you're better off batting Kallis down the order and having hitters like White and KP in earlier facing more deliveries. If they fail you've got Kallis there who can still get you his run a ball 40 and get you a respectable 130-140 type total on the board. Fact of the matter is if Kallis faces 60 balls, you might end up with a 180 total max, if KP faces 60 balls, you're more than likely going to end up with a total close to 200
