Is Brad Arthur the next Titans coach?

It doesn’t matter who the coach is. They need to sort out their salary cap. Some very hard decisions to be made.

They need to grow some balls and tell at least one of Brimson, Campbell or Kini go. It doesn’t matter if they leave and kill it for another club. The Titans need to pick a direction to head in. They are wasting their time with Foran being in the team. The biggest advantage of having Foran is for him to help develop and pass on his experience to next group of halves but no half has properly had that opportunity. Maybe Campbell at a pinch.

They then need to remove the dead wood from their forward pack. Moeaki Fotuaika is the most overrated front rower in the game at the moment. I don’t care if he played for QLD for 25 mins.

As a Parra fan who has a soft spot for the Gold Coast from back in the Giant days, Brad Arthur is not the coach to lead the Gold Coast.
3 names they should go for in my view

1. Kevin Waters
2. Craig Bellamy
3. Billy Slater

with a Dark horse in Cameron Smith

as for BA he will screw to club as he did with Parra as he let the egos run the team now JR is left with the mess

Gold Coast should look at returning to their roots

> King Wally Lewis as a mentor / head of football
> Return to being the Gold Coast / Tweed Giants

> Be more active on the open market
> Create a pathway for junior talent like the Panthers
> Move Des to head scout the Pathways talent
> Make the game day experience the best in the NRL for both home & away teams
> No more little brother of the Broncos time to step up

i still think the Melbourne Storm success should of been the GC's as the talent they have & had are mostly for north of the boarder, the NRL need a strong presents on the Gold Coast .

Cheers to the Gold Coast
