Is defence too Dominant in 2007?

I thought the Cowboys played a very entertaining style of football vs the eagles.
Thurston and Smith were playing it wide to the centres 2 or 3 times a set, using Bowen as a link.

yeah they werevery boring games

youd think a game with lockyer, hunt, hodges, merrit and john sutton would be entertaining

if this safety first foootball is gonna keep happening we mite e heading for another tigers premiership.

I understand that people are starting to say that the quality of the comp these days is not the same. Does anyone think that due to the salary cap we can no longer see a team filled with quality players that play really well and now we just see those quality players spread out into all teams. So that now even with their individual talent it doesnt show off as much due to the other players not being as talented.

Its all well and good to have a good playmaker but without good forwards they are not as good or without good backs running the right lines onto a playmakers pass... etc?

Is talent spread to thin?
