I don’t want this to happen but I honestly I believe we will end up picking up one of Aaron Woods or Dylan Napa

He's exactly the type of forward we have too many of at this club right now.

Made a name for himself, rests on his laurels, can't go well in a struggling side and ultimately a poor attitude.

Fotuaika and kikau we both missed out on. Shame. Niukore would be next best to bolster the pack..

Not that it’s what I want but of the two Woods is the better option. Is for some reason hard to tackle & able to get quick play the ball.
Honestly though I think it’s just people on here throwing names around so I don’t think it’ll happen.🤷🏼‍♂️

we need forwards without too much mileage under the belt and fire still in their bodies & hearts.
Spot on. Someone posted the names of a group of young Dragon junior forwards. Coric was one there were couple of props too. The best of these blokes need to be nurtured by the club with short term contracts while they develop and grow club loyalty. The best of the best then need to be given peace of mind with a long term contract.

I'd have said Woods before he joined the Tigers. But not so sure now.. like one poster alluded to about having the fire in the belly. Does he still have that and the heart to start new at another club at 30 years of age. Does any footballer still have those attributes as they near their retirement. Big mistake to sack Vaughan for mine. He still had a few good years left in him.. was a loyal and passionate Dragon. Perhaps we take a look at Jordan McLean if we want to chase an experienced prop.

Both Josh Coric and Jackson Sherab-Schmidt signed 4yr contracts with the Dragons last October.

So much for my short term contracts for the promising junior. Four years is a great start to the careers of these teens. Good proactive work by the club to lock in the futures of five of our most promising juniors. Reading that Josh is a prop.. Jackson a back rower. Both may get a FG crack next year but mostly ressies as they develop.

I'm not suggesting Woods, only voicing an opinion between him & Napa.

They will be in the Development Squad, along with a few other forwards + our young hooker.

Yeah, I'd take Napa. Still young for a front rower, was pretty dominant at the Roosters and I don't think it would take much to get him back to that form. And, better than anything we currently have.

Napa was big and tough whilst playing at the rorters as he had plenty of - real - tough hombres in the team .

However when he left and went to the Bulldogs he had no one there as a bodyguard, he was bought to add steel to their pack , but alone he was not up to the task.

We would be shelling out good money on a player that quite simply can no longer cut-it . Let’s move away from the second hand dealerships and use that money on someone who will do the job .
