Is it possible?

wtf

there have been games where he has had ample ball deep inside the opponents half and did nothing

Poo Poo doesn`t know very much about rugby league. He prefers to concentrate his efforts on arguing. He`s not very good at that, either, but at least he`s getting a lot of practice - so he might be good at it one day. In 5 years, say?
The answer to Sandow, of course, isn`t the forwards. The answer is the coach. Players like Sandow and Hayne can`t play at their best in a constantly losing, demoralised side. (Nor can rookies like Blair, Allgood, Sio, Ryan, etc.) Ryan`s playing well at present because he`s new. Give him another six weeks in this environment and his form will drop off, too.The way to change the 'culture' of this team is not 'structure' and five-year plans and 'academies'. The way is to start winning. To bring in an inspirational coach who can get these boys winning. The players` form and the culture will change with that. Once you`ve done that, then there might be a place for the other things (like structure and long-term plans, etc) but not now. Right now these players need to experience winning consistently. (And we need a five-eight.)

f**k I hope that's what it is. Surely the Board has given Kearney an ultimatum - perform/improve by Round 13, or you're done. Bring in a new coach capable of NRL level tactics for the second half of 2012, and open the chequebooks to replace our retiring/departing roster for 2013 onwards.

Sounds good to me.

On the original topic I am hoping that they are securing players like Sio, Radradra, Ryan and Blair first then shopping around.

Absolutely. I haven`t seen Radrara, but the other three would be fantastic under a decent coach and with a winning culture.

why round 13? by that time we will be halfway through the season and assuming we havent won another game by then our season will be dead as far as finals go
whats the point of bringing in a new coach then you might as well save some coin by not paying kearney out and punt him at the end of the year

The problem with our club is our forwards, Every year that we had a hard working backrower to pair up with Nathan Hindmarsh we have killed it.

2005 & 2006 Glenn Morrison
2007 Ian Hindmarsh
2009 Ben Smith

These guys were not flashy at all but work like dogs in attack and defense, Now im not saying we made the 2009 gf on the back of Ben Smith but it was good to have not only Smith but Lowrie as well as they did lay alot of ground work for Hayne, Robson and Mortimer also don't forget Eric Grothe was outstanding in 2009 and did alot of hard work.

Now that we are losing Hindy we need to go out and get these hard working backrowers, T-Rex would of been great but he hasn't really done anything till now but that being said could turn out to be a great signing, When you look at St George they don't have those big names backrowers but they get the job done.

I have no idea in terms of backrowers that are on the market but we need to look closly at the ones off contract of course and maybe stockpile and sign 3 or 4 of them, For mine Laselo doesn't cut the mustard, We need types like Vic Maruo and Matt Prior.

Why all the Kearney bashing? Once he's done the cleanout and gotten the team he wants we'll be fine.

Unfortunately he'll never get the team he wants because he's put us in such a s**t position nobody on the open market wants to come here.

agreed to a point. We need our fowards firing before Hayne and Sandow can capitalise. We also need to get our defence sorted. Noone wants to hear it but hindmarsh is past his used date, and what other backrowers do we have? Smith coming back will be a blessing, reni haasnt been too bad for us. Ryan is one for the future, thats 3 backrowers for next year.

Grothe was my MoTM for us in the 2009 gf btw.
