Is it too early for ladder predictors?

Tell me how seeing the Eels in the eight from an Eels POV is bias?

It's realistic Timmah.

I just did it and came up with:

1. St George-Illawarra
2. Canterbury
3. Melbourne
4. North Queensland
5. Gold Coast
6. Manly
7. Penrith
8. Brisbane

9. Newcastle
10. Wests
11. Parramatta
12. Souths
13. Canberra
14. New Zealand
15. Cronulla
16. Sydney-City

Even I'm surprised to see the Cowboys up that high but they do have a good F/A and two Sydney teams out of form left to play.

At the time it was extremely bias, if you look at when it was posted.

I'm not debating the merits of bias or lack of it, I'm merely stating it creeps in to certain analysis, something sting has to accept.

My predictions are made from a completely objective point of view. I do not allow any bias to creep in whatsoever.

I guess that's why I'm so accurate all the time really.

The Raiders will win four of their remaining games while the Knights will not win again?

Pull the other one, d*ckhead.

No, the Raiders will win 5 of their remaining games and the Knights will not win again.

Although the Raiders only need win 3 of their games and the Knights not win to overtake them, depending on margins of course.

Everyone seemed to do theirs without bias?!

Even you could see your mob skipping six clear despite only being 4 clear at the moment.

My point - bias always creeps in, of course you want to favour your own team, everyone does.

wow you have too much time in your hands!

anyways, i see your point regarding everyone else

but mine was done with no bias. i can see us dropping one game, and will be tipping both the cowboys and the tigers to beat you guys this year.

actually i don't see your point, you've picked a bunch of the most bias posters on these forums who follow teams well outside the 8.

i can't be bothered checking and quoting everyones to make my point stronger like you did, so whatever. cowboys and tigers to beat the dogs this year!

Your point is stupid.

I'm a fan of a team who's lost just 5 games all season, there's a fair chance they could go undefeated throughout the remainder of the season. There's also a fair chance they won't.

Basically what it looks like you're saying is that people aren't entitled to their opinion if it's going to be biased. It just won't happen, sorry.

Using 20-10 scorelines in every game. I come up with

  1. St George (44)
  2. Canterbury (38)
  3. Storm (37)
  4. Gold Coast (36)
  5. Penrith (31)
  6. Nth Qld (30)
  7. Manly (30)
  8. WT (28)
  9. Parramatta (27)
Though I have WT beating Parra, so a reversal of that result would put Parra in and the Tigers out. I also may have been a bit harsh on Newcastle (10th (26)), having them losing to Penrith in Newcastle. I could easily have had them on 28 as well.

I think Dragons will get Minor Premiers, but predict a Bulldogs vs Eels GF. Dragons have had a good year but I think they will do better next year.

All games won by side ahead on ladder, unless difference is less than 4 points, when game is won by home side. All scores 1-0.

1. Dragons 44
2. Dullbogs 40
3. Titans 38
4. Storm 37
5. Knights 32
6. Eagles 30
7. Panthers 29
8. Cows 28
9. Tigers 28
10. Broncoes 28
11. Rabbitohs 23
12. Eels 23
13. Warriors 20
14. Raiders 18
15. Sharks 14
16. Roosters 14

In reality, I expect Panthers and Eels to do better than this, Broncoes to sink ever deeper into the mire of obscurity, and the Knights to miss out. I don't really think the Titans will hold their Top 4 spot either.

Raiders are still a chance if they pick up their last three and results go their way... scary stuff.
