If dogs could talk it would be "I love you" or "you're just the bestest" or "thanks for throwing that stick 47 times"

If cats could talk it would be "get me my f**king dinner" or "Oi. Get off. That's my f**king chair"

Growing up I had both dogs and cats, the dog was a beautiful kelpie cross collie called Scamp and a bit later on the cat was a great ginger tom called Toby, he was a cool and placid cat.
As an adult I have only ever had a cat, another beautiful ginger female called Smudge, she was a part indoor /outdoor cat when I rented but became a complete indoor cat when I purchased a top floor unit, she passed away almost 10 years ago. As an adult I am definitely a cat person, the low maintenance compared to a dog is a big plus Smudge was never demanding apart from about 5 mins in the morning at breakfast time but that was after the household was already awake. I sometimes house sit for a friend who has a Jack Russell and that definitely confirms that I prefer cats over dogs by the time house sitting is over.

Had a dingo, and Funnily enough they have been described as having the attitude and temperament of a cat. But her intelligence was of the scale

The residents are never aware that their place stinks. It's obviously not all cats, maybe yours is fine. However as someone who has probably been inside of around 5,000 households due to my line of work I think my opinion is a tad more qualified then yours.
All I'm saying is most of the cats probably go outside at times wouldn't you say???? Then yes they probably do smell.

Mine is fully indoors and fully clean.

I respect your view though.

Only cat owners could possibly think that cats don't stink. They also completely f**k up any piece of furniture you own with their claws and bullshit fur getting on everything.

Most importantly, they are merkins to native species and any cat that is allowed outdoors kills hundreds of creatures a year for fun.

f**k cats

Cats are an ecological disaster in Australia, on par with cane toads. Both are kept as pets. Cats on a much greater scale because they are cute and fluffy, but the truth is they are highly efficient killing machines, and the damage they cause in this country means they should be eradicated.

At the very least it should be illegal to keep them as pets. You aren't allowed to grow noxious weeds like asparagus fern in your backyard so you shouldn't be allowed to keep cats either.

When I bought my unit back in 1997 we had a small rockery at the front, in it was a very small bit of asparagus fern, it just stayed in the one spot never getting any bigger, it was wedged in a spot where it couldn't expand, I really grew to like looking at it even though it was a noxious weed, another woman bought a unit later on and was a so call expert on gardening so she just ripped it out but she replaced the spot with what looked like paterson's curse so I just ripped it out and disposed of it a plastic bag in the garbage.

I do agree about feral cats but it all comes back to who let the cats get wild to roam free and dumped in the bush in the first place, irresponsible humans just like the idiots who dumped carp and goldfish into our river systems killing off most of the native fish populations, then there was all the good intentions with rabbits and foxes with the first settlers which have turned into an ecological disaster and also more recently the cane toads, could go on and on but it all comes backs to one common denominator, human beings.
