IS Jason King the worst starting prop in the NRL?

The tale of last night's tape - Manly vs Cowgirls:
  • 23 metres in around 40 minutes of play.
  • Missed tackle leads to soft try.
  • Several other crucial missed tackles while defending own goal line.
  • 3 dumb penalties conceded.
And by last season's standards, that's one of his better games. LAst year in the MAnly debacle against the Sharks he played 40 minutes, took two hitups for 5 metres and spilled the ball on one of them.

Is there another starting prop in the NRL that can claim to performing worse than Jason King does week in and week out?

Are you suggesting I be like King and do some bludging in behind the line while my team mates mop up all my mistakes?

Let's see if Ryles can do better than 23 metres today.

If you want to swap, I'm sure 95% of Manly fans will accomodate you.

King, for his size, really doesnt dent the defensive line. Very dissapointing player. Up there with Dane Carlaw as a player who could have done a whole lot better with the talent given to them

The same way that Carlaw and Meyers ever wore the Green and Gold.

Meyers was awesome in 2001.

Even in 04 I remember him showing his talent vs the Roosters by stepping off both feet while fending with both hands swapping the ball from side to side to score a try.

Hasler doesn't coach City.

no, but bozo has connections in league.
Remember solomon haumono when he played in the city country game 2-3 yrs back? It was his 1st yr back after boxing. He played about 15 mins or so off the bench and Bozo talked him up on radio the next day like he was a world beater. There is alot of politics in league

i am not saying anything. I am just saying that there is alot of politics in league. Some players deserve their selections like Johns and Hindmarsh...some others get there because of what happens behind closes doors.
