Shuddup saab. he has made some bollucking runs, betteeer than webcke over the last few seasons. remeber his 100m effort against canberra in which beaver supported him?

and unlike webcke he has a brain.

hahahaha. That run was over 4 yrs ago at Gosford. Is that the defining moment of his career is it? Running straight past Brett Finch. Get your hand of covells schlong.
You dead set are a f**king idiot.

Mzilikazi, did you get that baseball bat out again, he actually had a pretty decent game again, funny he's lifted his game since round 2....maybe he's been reading this thread:p

I agree, he has picked it up a little. on saturday night we needed our pack to stand up and be counted, and they did a great job. aside from the two silly errors at the start, it was a massive defensive effort from the boys that gave us a platform to build the victory from.

that result is great preperation for a tricky game in NZ against the bro's

vs the Dragons

94 metres (most of the other forwards cracked 100, but still a good improvement)
2 offloads (hope he continues to develop this skill as he looks to have some potential there)
24 tackles (so-so, but more importantly....
0 missed tackles (and perhaps even more importantly...
0 errors

Not exactly representative material, but he's definitely starting to pull his weight now.

Improving, but still lacklustre.

Zero missed tackles, f**k..I cannot recall a time where I've seen that next to Jasons name.

i'm pretty happy at his improvement over the past few rounds, maybe it was the headknock against the sharks.....i'm stoked at how our forward pack have improved from their crappy start to the season, they are fired up, make meters, and have been defending pretty well. king has been an important part of that.

Jason King:

15 runs for 138m
20 Tackles
3 Missed tackles
3 offloads

He is slowly regaining form, good to see he has cut out the bullsh!t penalties.

Just watched the game, and was very impressed with our pack.

Although the dogs were pathetic I put it down to the Intimidation shown by our pack.

Kennedy gets the 3pts just ahead of King.

King was deadset tearing into their line at times, especially from the tap re-starts. He was really making the dogs forwards earn their tackles.

I wouldn't say the forwards completely dominated, though they certainly played a lot better. Whenever the dogs did actually manage to complete a set, they routinely clocked up 50+ metres. Their poor ball control, poor kicking game, and lack of a genuine playmaker let them down. There was definitely a comeback on early in the second half, and I thought it was more a case of them blowing it than Manly shutting them out. I think a better team might've run Manly down when they went off the boil there for a while.
