Is Marshall a great player?

Absolute flat track bully. Kills it against lesser teams like Penrith and Parra, but when the going gets tough he fails. Also absolutely shirks it in defence.
Honestly cannot think of a player who gets more of a free ride in the media

At club level, maybe that's true. But in the big games in tournaments for the Kiwis Marshall has done very well. I think its been a challenge for the Tigers in that this year, aside from Aaron Woods, their forwards are below average at best.

Forwards aren't great but it doesn't help when the bloke on big money refuses to put his body on the line in defence and takes the wrong option more often than not in attack

The casual mug fan that follows the game for 90 minutes per week love him, he makes them buy jerseys and memberships
I laugh every time the teams announced at games, he still gets the biggest cheer...but kids are kids

Yes.

No coincidence that teams he has been in as the key player have won

- NRL Premiership

- Four Nations Title

- World Cup

When these competitions started his teams were not the favourites.

Even in his current form he'd be a significant upgrade in the halves for:

The Cowboys
Broncos
Warriors
Knights
Panthers
Eels
Sharks
Dragons

Most other clubs he'd be a sidegrade, and they'd have to change their style to suit him.

In fact the only club that wouldn't want to see him at all would be Manly. Says something.

That might be the case, but it also shows how bad the quality of halves we have out there are and does not make Benji look any better.

Quite a compliment gUt. Marshall needs to tighten up his game, but he's a rocks and diamonds player - and that's not going to change, so us Tigers fans just have to cop the rocks - and as long as the diamonds come at a better rate, so be it I suppose.

Problem is, there's been no diamonds for 18 months now. It's been a shower of rocks.

Married life f**ked him up. I'd be hitting that all day and probably quit footy altogether.
She is our Yoko ono.
