Agree with that Chris, if Bryce, Dallin and others develop like we think they will we will have a gun side next season with lots of depth.

By 2016 I think Latimore will be struggling to get a run with RCG, Smith and Saunders all looking like they will figure.

Nabuli's as good as gone for next year. So you need a new winger

Is that based on anything Franklin or just conjecture given we may have higher priorities?

Sharks & Canberra have made enquiries about him for next year. No Idris, Simmons or Jennings and still not in the team ( Not that I have an issue with DWZ playing this week). Says to me his down the list of re-signing

From a reliable source from being at the titans game on the weekend there have been approaches made to Nabuli for 2015 but his preference is to stay with the Panthers provided they are able to officially offer him a reasonable contract. He will give Penrith the last shot so to speak once it get's down to the nitty gritty. Source didn't specify the clubs who have made approaches so can't shed any light there as he wasn't prepared to go into specifics. What was positive is Nabuli believes he has a future at the Panthers provided they are willing to retain him. Conversations had nothing to do with Nabuli who I understand was in Sydney for NSW Cup duties.

I think if Naiqama gets called into the side this week (and I don't mind if he does, seeing as he played well on the wing earlier in the season), then I would advise Nabuli to look elsewhere.

Yep agree. If he doesn't make it this week, that's probably it. Really tough choice though. Hard to knock back Naiqama given his form.

Not much difference in form. Naiqama 1 game more 11 tries. Nabuli 9. Linebreaks 19 Naiqama. 15 Nabuli really is a toss of the coin type thing

I want to see Nabouli get a run, but with DWZ, Nabouli and Naiqama as backups. We get quality no matter who it is.

I think we will need to bring in one experienced prop this year, at least while we transition from Grant, Kite and Plum to Smith, RCG, Saunders, and potentially Manu and Anderson. We don't know if Latimore will continue his form through or past this year.

Realistically we only need a couple of props, second rowers and outside backs to hit their potential to have a very strong squad. The biggest question mark is obviously halfback. Hopefully Scarlett makes the grade and we cab transition Soward out for him in 2017. Hecd be 22 by 2016 grand final day so it may come earlier..
I agree with your comment about needing an experienced prop but we have one waiting in cup in Sam Anderson, hes in his 3rd year and has served his apprenticeship behind Mchendry, Grant etc but if he's not a better proposition ( no pun intended) than Kite, plummy or Manu than I'm missing something. 3rd best hitup stats in the cup comp, plays big minutes every week and is virtually mistake and error free.Top try scorer for a prop in cup... how much more can he do to earn another crack at first grade??

Good post again. Obviously Kite, Plum and in the back end of there playing days. Sika Manu still has some years ahead of him but he is no longer a wide running back rower in my opinion and need's to play front row or be moved on. He has not had the impact we hoped for in my opinion. Does a job but largely no better than others we have at the club. BMM in my opinion is bigger, stronger, faster and could offer more. I agree with your comments about Sam Anderson while not big in size he is a workaholic and would guarantee everything you want in a front rower.

Agree on Anderson. Kite needs at the least a kick up the ass and Anderson should be the guy to get the chance.

BMM has been doing a great job in Cup and basically delivering everything that both Brown and Manu promised but are not doing just now. I really think back row is his spot where he can terrorise half backs and five eighths and leave the hard slog up the middle to the likes of McHendry, Latimore and I hope in the future, Anderson.

VTK has taken some time to get back to his best after injury this year but is hitting his straps at the right time. He is terrorizing sides out wide and looks to be enjoying himself again. Our NRL big guns in the back row should be looking over their shoulders because he would not let anyone down if given a shot. IMO.
