Mckinnon was our best for 6 weeks and puts on 1 bad performance which cost us two tries and ulitmately the game. His confidence is down and needs a big game agaisnt penrith to rise and ge tit back. He is our buy of the year and i hope he has a big one next week.

I didn't think McKinnon played all too badly yesterday. He was very dangerous in attack, made some great runs, and scored a terrific try. He dropped a couple of balls but I think anyone would have under the circumstances. He was still one of Parramatta's better players yesterday in my opinion.

wade played fine....hunt put a step on him that would have left the best defensive fullbacks clutching at nothing and he dropped one sky scraping bomb....it was not his fault at all that burty collided with him on the other bomb that went down

mackinnon played with plenty of guts and effort against the broncos as he has for the past couple of months

Fullback (and to a lesser extent, wingers) will always have the occasional "shocker" simply because unlike any other position, their mistake often leads to tries and there's noone to cover up for them. A

Actually McKinnon's problems with the spiral bomb reminded me of a game that Schifcofski had against Newcastle a few years ago. If he comes back anywhere as well as Schifcofski did (I can't remember him dropping too many bombs in the rest of his time with us) he'd be a great player for us.

McKinnon made a few mistakes...but Burt was too blame for one :x , cant blame him really for dropping Lockyers bombs, any player would have trouble catching those....in the end i thought Anderson cost us the game #-o i will be glad when Petersen comes back, unless Anderson hopefully proves me wrong..

What's so bad about Wade's game?

He dropped a few bombs which had 'circumstances' [ (1) Burt crashing into him; and (2) in the first half, I am pretty sure he was interfered with whilst in mid-air, leading him to drop it].

He missed a two-on-one tackle.

But he fielded every other kick brilliantly.

Scored a try.

And was solid.

Sure, he dropped the ball a few times, but we were a tad unlucky - I think Dykes' injury cost us a bit of organisation and possibly points.

Dont know how it would of went but those two in the halfs may have caused some havoc

Shit happens some time, its how you bounce back and the boys almost did, they were in the game up until the last minutes of the game.

I know, eh?

I'm so proud of my team. People often bag Dykes, but when it matters most he is reliable and can make try assists and organise us (just ask Newcastle!).

I thought his loss would really damage us (which it did), but our boys never gave up and were always in the game.

Fantastic to see.

I've said it before and will say it again Dykes always has a better second half, if he was on the field we would have won, no doubt, You don't come back twice only to be knocked out again if you have your general on the field. I think Dykes is a great player and if Witt is our future we need someone with Dykes calliber, whether in the No 6 or No 7 to show him the ropes.

Witt 5/8
Dykes 1/2
Wagon Lock
Morris 9
Wade 1

who says parramatta has no talent and no heart.

'Goose' Gould reckons we have no talent.

Then again, his definition of a talented fullback is a guy who offers a good running game and NOTHING else.

Or how's this for a 5/8 (in game I)? A LOCK who has no ball skills.

According to Goose, the only talented players are Roosters.

Bewtween Minichiello (OT point of interest - if people want to refer to him as 'the Italian Stallion', then GET HIS BLOODY NAME RIGHT; it's pronounced 'MINI - K - IELLO; in Italian, CH is a K sound) and McKinnon, I'd choose McKinnon.

Wade is a good runner; offers excellent support; is safe as a bank at the back; and organises his defence (I noticed this against Brisbane; he stood behind our defensive line and barked instructions to his players).
