Ten magic sporting highlights from 2015 have been announced this morning for the New Zealand Sporting Moment Award and the public's been given the chance to vote on the winner.
It's the only category in this year's Halberg Awards to afford that opportunity to the public, with each listed nomination selected by a panel of representatives within the media.
Among the highlights are Grant Elliot's semifinal-winning six against South Africa in the Cricket World Cup, Beauden Barrett's Rugby World Cup-winning try and Ekene Ibekwe's buzzer-beater to down the Cairns Taipans and deliver the New Zealand Breakers their third NBL title in four years.
A hat-trick of significant landmarks also make the cut, with Richie McCaw becoming the most capped player in rugby history, Black Cap Ross Taylor earning the highest ever score by a visiting batsman in Australia on his way to notching a magnificent 291, and 18-year-old Lydia Ko becoming the youngest ever golfer to win a major championship all receiving a nomination.
Alongside those moments is the Kiwis' assured victory over trans-Tasman rivals Australia, as well as the Football Ferns' win against footballing powerhouse Brazil, and the Highlanders first ever Super Rugby title.
Nathan Friend's backflip pass that led to a try against the Melbourne Storm also made the cut.
Kiwi sports fans can vote for their favourite sporting moment once a day by text message or online at www.halbergawards.co.nz. The winner will be presented at the 53rd Halberg Awards on Thursday 18 February 2016 at Vector Arena in Auckland.
