Just remmember that before you jump off the chair, with the rope around your neck.

I appreciate your passion, but some of you guys take it very personally.

Exactly right Twizzle, but we're so passionate that it kills us to see our blokes not win and not put in enough week in week out. Dont give up whoever are trying to do that. However that's not gonna stop me wearing my blue and gold jumper to every home game this season.

I will follow Parramatta forever.

It may be just a game, but for passionate supporters it doesn't feel like it. It makes or breaks my weekend when Parramatta win or lose, to put up with endless thrashings by mid-table teams is unforgiveable.

It may be only a game but losing to 5 teams in a row, 4 of them at home, That should of been 2 points each match is discraceful. Losing to a second rated dragons team and a mid-tabled tigers by about 30 points is a monstrosity. We are playing hopeless football and It kills me and the majority of my eels buddies on this forum!

A seond favorite is a team that can bring joy from a win when your first choice team can't.

Therefore, a second team is a prerequisite for Parra fans!

That is as fair weather as it gets for me....I know you are trying to see some humour in this but I just cannot contemplate having a "2nd" team...I hate them all.

I have family connections with the Bears, a grandparent was a lifelong supporter whose funeral was paid for by the club.

Duno how you can call me a fair weather supporter, when you don't want to see Parra advance at the expense of one lousy employee!

Mate, it IS just a game.

HOWEVER,

consider the following:

* We have gone from near-heros to zeros in 3 years; the only main changes have been gap-players (Hindy, Lyon, Cayless and co., our CORE players, have been here for the past 3 seasons, as has Brian and the coaching staff)

* My entire week is made when we play. I still, for some unexplicable reason, cannot wait for the weekend. I LOVE watching them PLAY; for a couple of years now we haven't actually played

* I bet we could volunteer 17 of us on this board and we could mount a better challenge than some of these overpaid monkeys.

It IS a game. It is a rather simple game.

Why, then, do we struggle so much? And why do we consistently struggle for answers?

I will always support the Eels but surely everyone has a mental list of the teams that they hate less than others, mine is:

1. Parramatta

DAYLIGHT

2. Tigers

Don't care about most of the others but at the bottom end would be:

10. Roosters
11. St George
12. Brisbane
13. Manly
14. Canterbury
15. Newcastle
