So, it's the morn of what is known as the pinnacle (unless you're a f**king Kiwi) of the Rugby League season in Australia where good, honourable NSW fight the good fight against a rag tag band of muppets from all over the rest of Australia, the Pacific Islands, NZ, and other far reaching countries and places around the world.
But what will the QLD parasites come up with this year for excuses after they lose Game 1, and quite possibly, the series?
Here's a small selection of what I think may be thrown up. Feel free to add your own.
1. Pearce is currently in the form of his life.
2. Chris Close has lost his passion, therefore QLD have lost any shred of passion (grubbiness) they ever had.
3. They were always the underdogs, and have been for the last 10 years. Anyone who says any different doesn't understand the passion of Origin.
4. Origin is finally dead.
5. We don't care about Origin this year anyway, the QLD NRL teams are actually doing alright for a change!
