It's time for the NRL to get rid of Souths. Since they have been readmitted they have won 3 spoons (should've been 4) and finished 2nd last on the other 2 occasions. They offer absolutely nothing to the comp (except for a few laughs because of their totally inept management). Day after day the papers are full of this joke of a clubs problems and it's only going to get worse. Season 2006 will see them playing to crowds of 6000 in a 80,000 crowd stadium, the atmosphere will be non existant. They failed dismally to attract decent players to their club, even Piggins nephew and Souths junior Anasta didn't want anything to do with them. Their own captain took a 50% paycut to jump off the sinking ship. Add to this the ongoing saga of two legends in their own minds trying to buy the club and the whole saga is more embarrasing than George Piggins. So come on NRL do us all a favour and put this pathetic club out of it's misery.

All power to the Souths fans for hanging in there, but the thing that bugs me.is...

All we ever hear is "how George Piggins only wants whats best for South Sydney". Balderdash! George Piggins only wants South Sydney to be exactly the way George Piggins wants Souths Sydney to be. He will run that place into the ground. He refuses to accept that there are other people in the world with more business accumin than he, and he refuses to believe that other people actually want Souths to be succesful.

He is blind to the fact that people with common sense are against him, whilst The people that support him get a schooner at Souths Leagues for Breakfast & wouldn't know how to fill out a deposit slip at the bank!
